I have an unhealthy obsession with potato chips and decided not to fight it but to find a healthy version of the chips, which I can enjoy without feeling guilty for eating something detrimental to my health. And so I found the easiest and healthiest potato chips, which we indulge on at least twice weekly.
What we need for this recipe?
1-1.5 kg potatoes
salt, black pepper, garlic powder
How to make the potato chips?
- Peel, wash and cut the potatoes on chips size (the thinner, the crunchier).
- Put the chips on a backing sheet, preferable covered with baking paper. They should look something like that:
3. Sprinkle salt, black pepper, garlic powder or any other herbs you might like. You are free to experiment with different tastes.
4. Bake around 30 minutes in an oven at 200 C or until the potatoes get brown (crunchy).
5.Transfer them on a plate and enjoy with your favourite dip. We usually eat them plain and are loving it!
